Link: Students nationwide join anti-war protests

A friend of mine just told me about his experience from the anti-war protests in Washington, DC. He's also a student at Juniata College and went with about 45 people from our campus.

For those who don't know, Juniata is a relatively small school about three and a half hours west of Philadelphia. It's located in one of the most conservative regions of the state and most students come from rural areas. It's pretty impressive that 45 kids made the trip to DC for the protest.

This is true across the country. Despite what the media might say, there are hundreds of thousands of students and youth calling for a new direction in Iraq. It would be nice if young people could avoid being labeled apathetic and uninvolved.
