I have been blessed to be raised by a great family and supportive mentors.  That has provided me the opportunity to work alongside some amazing activists, poets, elders, and prophets.

What brings my work together is my belief that social change movements have always and will continue to make the difference in our lives.  

Our struggle is similar across our movements, because we all fight systems that hinder our ability to make change and make us feel ineffective.

With grassroots nonviolent organizing, and good strategy, we do make a difference.
